OPTIMAL DIGITAL PERFORMANCE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE Canon is proud to announce a series of new digital video camcorders, MV550i / MV530i / MV500i to the market. Being the successor of MV400 series, the MV500 series provide enhanced PC connectivity and increased lens magnification in an equally compact body. The MV550i utilises a high performance optical 22x/digital 440x zoom lens, replacing the 10x optical zoom lens of the preceding MV400 Series to transform distant subjects to dramatic close-ups. This is possible because the CCD size in the MV500 series has been reduced from 1/4" to 1/6", allowing the increase in lens magnification while maintaining the compact size. While the new Progressive Photo System in MV550i and MV530i provide excellent digital picture quality. For enhanced PC connectivity, both MV550i and MV530i include a PC connection kit, which provides a USB cable that allows high-speed transfer of memory card data. Withthis kit, users can process and organize still images in their PCs more easily than ever. Furthermore, 6 selectable colour light-up buttons found in the MV550i not only add a touch of fun, but also enables playing back in dark surroundings.
