Landscape Variation

Use this mode not only for landscape
but anything that requires a deeper zone of depth-of-field, like street or city scenes,
architecture, group photos, etc. Unlike the portrait variation, this one favors smaller
aperture to create the required zone of sharp focus for the images you have in mind.
Shutter speeds can be reduced when the light level is low and the use of a tripod
may be necessary. This is because the camera's built-in flash will not pop up even
when the light level detected is too low for hand-held photography. One Shot AF mode
is selected in this PIC variation mode. Available in all the EOS entry-level and
amateur models including the EOS IX and IX 7 APS models.
