For most people, it is a thrill
to see their photos splashed in the newspapers' sports pages or news on the TV, even
if their images are confined to the background. It won't bother anyone if a couple
more cameras used by beginners or amateurs are also aimed at their direction.

I would like to point out that the photos of the umbrella girls on the starting grids
for both the car and bike races above, just about anyone with a camera and the proper
accreditation tag can shoot as many photos of them as they would like, regardless
of whether they are beginners, amateurs or professionals.
These promoters are paid to pose
for photographs. In some national and regional championships, accreditation for ID
passes are not that strict and even members of photographic clubs and photography
students can apply for one as long as they have a letter from the clubs or institutes
confirming their status.
