As noted earlier, portraits are
best conveyed with the use of shallow zone of focus to make the subject stands out.
This can be achieved by selecting either the maximum aperture of the lens in used
or between one and two stops smaller. Shallow zone of focus can also be used for
other subjects like non-fast moving sports, candid, natures and still-life.
