SHOOTING IN LOS ANGELES AND
CALIFORNIA
Los Angeles seems to be quite confusing to me - I never did get to know my ways
in and around the city, as compared to New York City. Downtown LA, Hollywood, Hollywood
Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Little Japan and Chinatown are the only sections I have
managed to actually cover by Ö walking. Taking the bus, cabs or subways would mean
missing out on a number of interesting sights and atmosphere. If you are a local,
you will know when and where to park your vehicle or which bus to take to reach that
destination of yours. I was a first-time visitor and preferred to see LA by walking
instead - quite a crazy idea anyway. Of course, buses and subways were the order
of the day when I was quite exhausted and when it was getting dark.

SHOOTING IN MANHATTAN, NEW
YORK CITY
The Big Apple has always been my favorite destination and is the place I have
visited more often than any other foreign city, to the point of knowing every corner
and area of where to get the best food, shopping, cheapest bargains and everything
else - but nly in Manhattan and New Jersey as I have not been to Brooklyn, Long Island,
and the Bronx in Staten for a long time. I was told that in NYC, only the professionals
and tourists really spend the time shooting the sights and atmosphere of the city
most of the time whereas the local photo enthusiasts will probably go elsewhere (the
other 49 states) for their photography.

It is often said that in New York,
everybody will find himself or herself at home even though they are not natives of
the city - the vast cultures and lifestyles of its many races and immigrants made
it a wonderful place for all things that can be shot by any photo enthusiast. If
you ever run out of film due to the numerous sights that arouse your photographic
instinct, you will find that the major dealers in both Manhattan and its surrounding
burroughs sell them at very reasonable prices, which can be even cheaper than what
you may pay for them back home.
