Okay, in the previous three pages were examples of how to shoot subject matters showing their sizes in relation to their surroundings - in foreign destinations. Now, photo enthusiasts and EOS users alike (especially Malaysians) can also see that local sights and scenes can be given the same touch as well. For the LRT tracks, most of the residents of the Klang Valley, where the country's capital, Kuala Lumpur as well as townships like Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya are located, have seen them, but mostly from below as very few have seen them from above (aerial view). This photo (below, top left) of the tracks was shot from the 16th floor of an apartment building located near one of the LRT stations.

Cityscape scene shot via infinity

The cityscape scene (above, top right) was photographed with the lens focused at its infinity distance - an indication of how far this scene was from where it was shot, given the strong perspective compression generated. It also shows the difference in size of the traffic in the foreground against the LRT station (middle) and the background buildings. By now, almost everyone around the world already knows that the famed PetronasT Towers are the world's tallest building, but very little is made of the fact that the accompanying Suria KLCC shopping mall is also quite large in its size. The photo below (left) shows its size in comparison to the group of tourists walking past it.

View alongside the Klang river

This view above (right) was photographed alongside the Klang River where the famed Jamek Mosque is located (middle, left side) as well as one of the many bridges that links the capital with both sides of the river. I came along this foreign shutterbug (below, top left) in the process of setting up her tripod in preparation for a good angle of Kuala Lumpur's Sultan Abdul Samad building. The colonial structure behind her is the Magistrate Court building. Another tourist whose height (below, top right) in relation to the shop's facade, gives an indication of how large the building is.

Models' size in relation to the IXUS board

These back-up crew (above, lower left) are from one of the teams that participated in the annual Proton 300 Km Merdeka Endurance Race. Their sizes in relation to the Start/Finish banner above them give you an idea of how large it is against the humans. In the next picture, the Canon IXUS board at the background gives one an insight into its height is in relation to the models parading in front.
