The front large pocket is for you to keep stationary and other small objects like pens, notepads, calculators, magazines or newspapers. In the main compartment, there are also four mesh pockets, ideal for keeping films, batteries, remote control cables and lens cleaning tissue.

For those who are not shooting with digital cameras, the laptop compartment can be used to store other things like spare clothes or any other essential items that can fit into it. There are several ways to carry the Canon Digital Backpack:

Firstly, by using the shoulder strap. By carrying it this way, the Digital Backpack can be carried like a regular computer bag although it is quite bulky to do it this way as the bag is really heavy when it is fully loaded with camera equipment. Secondly, to use the store-away backpack harness and carry it like a backpack. Third choice will be the least practical of the lot: carry the bag via either one of its two carrying handles. This is usually done for short trips, such as when boarding the plane or carrying it to the hotel room.
