If you already have both the EF 17-35mm f/2.8L USM and EF 70-200mm f.2.8L USM zoom lenses and would like to buy a lens to fit in between the gap, then this EF lens is worth considering. The same consideration, too, if you are an owner of the older EF 20-35mm f/2.8L AFD and the EF 80-200mm f/2.8L AFD zooms.
