The final time I used the lens was
at an automobile exhibition, where the lens' ability to render details in the available
light situations was something which the EF 50mm f/1.4 USM can't be expected to emulate.
Shown below are some photos of that exhibition, including shots of the promotion
girls on duty.

In some of the exhibition photos shown, despite the shallow depth-of-field, the sharpness
and contrast levels of the main subjects are excellent. You will also notice that
details from bright light source, such as the spotlights used on the exhibition area,
are rendered without any aberration, such as flare or coma, including out-of-focus
highlights area.
When Program A-TTL autoflash was used with the lens, exposure details were the same
as with most EF lenses. This is because you will be shooting with the lens closed
down to its middle aperture of either f/5.6 or f/8, depending on the subject-to-camera
distance, as shown in these two photos below.
