This being the 20th anniversary of the Sure Shot 35mm point-and-shoot cameras, Canon has unveiled the latest model of the lineup recently known as the Sure Shot Classic 120 and Sure Shot Classic 120 Caption. The name of Sure Shot has been around since the first model, known as the Sure Shot AF 35M, which was Canon first point-and-shoot 35mm compact, was launched in 1979.

In the late 80s, for models intended for both the Europe and Asian markets, a new name was coined, Prima, whereby these latest editions are now known as the Canon Prima Super 120 and Prima Super 120 Caption. These new models offer state-of-the-art features in an ultra-compact, durable and elegant aluminium body, while incorporating classic design elements from the pioneering days of compact 35mm AF photography.

In Malaysia, only the caption version, with date and captions (five languages) will be offered to the consumers. New features include a powerful built-in 38-120mm zoom lens with aspherical elements and up to 335 focusing steps for pinpoint accuracy, a 7-mode "Best-Shot" Dial for convenient and automatic camera settings, a 3-point dual hybrid autofocus system, a built-in dioptric viewfinder adjustment control and a highly-efficienct built-in Light Guide flash system.
