Whenever I do have to bring the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM zoom lens with me on assignments that requires its use, I will put the lens inside a pouch in addition to the vest I am wearing. I rarely use a camera bag for assignments like these, preferring to travel light with few hassles.
