As mentioned in the previous page, the EF 75-300mm Mk III has a very close focusing distance, namely 1.5 meters. Anything that is the same size as a postcard or slightly larger, can fill up the frame with the zoom lens' 300mm focal length setting. Even with subjects smaller than that can also take up half the space at that setting, like a flower or fruits such as two apples or oranges. And for greater telephoto effect, the 300mm focal length provides a nice compressed perspective ratio to add more effect to your pictures, aside from filling the frame up with distant subjects.
