For Photo C, it was photographed
at the 24mm setting, using the focal length's tendency to exaggerate to the maximum
effect by making the traffic lights to be more imposing than the Sogo shopping complex.
For Photo D, the usual urge to shoot abstract had me to just zoomed-up the lens to
its 85mm setting and clicked.
Some may gripe over its varying maximum apertures of f/3.5-4.5 which may not be sufficient
enough to shoot with when the light is getting low but the problem can be solved
by using higher film speed like ISO 400 for example. This EF zoom lens is also a
hot favourite with a lot of photojournalists since they preferred it to the heavier
and more expensive EF 28-70mm f/2.8L USM zoom lens plus the wider and narrower focal
lengths at both ends.
