Big Finder Built into the compact body is a large viewfinder with a high eye-point which makes easy to view and compose the image, even when wearing sunglasses, ski goggles or a diving mask. The viewfinder includes the autofocus frame and an "OK-to-shoot" lamp. |
Focusing modes
Above water, the Prima AS-1 uses AI-AF 3-point active autofocusing. The 32mm f/3.5 lens focuses from 0.45 metre to infinity in 415 steps, giving pin-sharp pictures. Underwater, the camera switches automatically to fixed focusing. Two fixed focus settings are available - 1 to 3 metres and 0.45 to 1 metre.
Close-ups
The Prima AS-1 allows close-focusing above water without any special settings. It will focus down to 0.45 metre. Underwater, subjects between 0.45 and 1 metre from the lens can be photographed with one of the fixed focus settings.
