Canon Launches
Stylish Compact Cameras To Join Its Successful Prima Range
The AF-9s improves upon the extremely
popular oversized viewfinder in the previous models. The viewfinder of the AF-9s
is not only large, it achieves transparency without any colorization effects. In
addition an unrivalled flash range can be obtained which reduces the risk of under-exposure.
Equipped with a large-sized LCD, the flash mode and other information can be read
at a glance. The exterior of the AF-9s is enhanced by a high-quality design accentuated
by a two-tone metallic coating featuring an active AF system. Superior handling is
guaranteed due to enlarged, most frequently used controls when taking pictures.
The main switch has been enlarged to comfortably fit the finger's shape and size,
making it easier to slide as well as the shutter button, which makes it easier for
the user to press. After all, the AF-9s offers great value at a low price without
compromising specifications.
The Prima AF-9S features a built-in flash with a guide number of 11m (ISO 100) that
can light subjects up to 10m from the camera. The pop-up flash offers three shooting
modes: automatic, flash on and flash off, and a red-eye reduction lamp.
The Prima AF-9S autofocus camera has a 35mm lens that has a maximum aperture of f/3.8
and a shooting range of 0.8m to infinity.
Compact in design and extremely attractive with a white gold finish, the cameras
have the flash and self-timer control buttons located near the shutter button plus
LCD frame counter for fast, easy operation.
