IEEE 1394 (DV Terminal)
The DM-MV 100 is equipped with a DV IN/OUT terminal on its body that conforms to IEEE 1394. It takes just a single digital cable to edit, copy and re-record your video virtually free from generation loss in image and sound quality.

PCM PCM Digital Sound STEREO

The DM-MV 100 offers two digital audio modes. The 16 bit mode produces the higher, CD equivalent, two-channel sound quality while the 12 bit mode records on two of four channels leaving two other channels free to dub extra sound at a later date*.

White Balance Control

In addition to the automatic level, you can set the white balance yourself, or choose between the indoor or outdoor modes to better match the scene.

Photo Search/Date Search
Search through your still images wherever they appear on a tape. Alternatively find any recording by date, quickly and easily.

All-New Lithium Ion Power System
Miniaturized battery packs together with a supplied power adapter capable of charging two battery packs consecutively.

"Standby" Lens Cover
Opening and closing the lens cover also turns on and off the power.

Superb Playback Performance
In addition to superb normal playback, the DM-MV 100 delivers a number of special playback modes such as noiseless slow-motion and frame advance.

Docking Unit
The supplied Docking Unit connects to the DM-MV 100 with ease to let it communicate with audio, video, and editing devices. Choose to leave it connected, so that you never need to fiddle with cables again!

Composite & S-Video Output
The DM-MV 100 body has a mini plug that provides composite video and stereo audio outputs for easy connection to your television. For higher quality video output, the supplied Docking Unit has an S-video output terminal.
