Canon introduces world's first
extended recording system with the launch of its stylish new compact digital camcorder
series
Canon has announced the launch of its new MV400 series of camcorders featuring
the world's first extended recording system. This stylish and compact camcorder series
further expands Canon's successful MV digital camcorder line-up. With enhanced specifications,
impressive next generation features and an affordable price, the new models offer
outstanding cost performance.
The new MV400 Series contains the following range of models:
- MV400 & MV400i
- MV430 & MV430i
- MV450 & MV450i
Measuring just 57x102x134, these
new additions to the MV line-up are extremely compact and well designed. With their
stylish slim body and curvaceous S-surface design, they are easy and comfortable
to operate, and provide an ideal fit for any hand.
All three camcorders offer an ëií version, MV400i, MV430i, and the MV450i providing
users with digital line-in functionality. With this feature, users can upload edited
footage or graphics from their computer, or other digital devices, to the camcorder.
As the signal is digital, the images can be transferred without loss of image quality.
This feature also provides the possibility to incorporate analog video data into
new digital recordings. Users can record images from a previously recorded 8mm/VHS
tape, onto their new long-lasting DV tapes, thus enabling them to save, edit and
preserve liable price, the new models offer outstanding cost performance.
